IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

The IAVRPT Board has made the difficult decision not to proceed with the 13th IAVRPT Symposium, which was scheduled to be held in Knoxville, Tennessee, in July 2026.

This decision has not been made lightly. Despite an outstanding scientific programme, exceptional international speakers, and strong support for Knoxville during the planning phase, registrations did not reach the level required to deliver a financially sustainable Symposium. In the current global environment, the Board believes this difficult decision is the most responsible course of action to protect the long-term sustainability of IAVRPT and ensure we can continue to serve our members into the future.

Although we are unable to bring the Symposium to Knoxville, we remain committed to delivering the outstanding educational content that had been planned. Over the next 12 months, IAVRPT intends to deliver many of the Symposium presentations as a webinar series. As a registered delegate, we would like to offer you complimentary access to these webinars as a gesture of our appreciation for your support.

The Board will also undertake a review of the current Symposium model and our continuing professional development offerings to help shape future educational opportunities for our members and the wider veterinary rehabilitation community.
